Out of school : Stop Motion Practice

Stop motion is a form of film that I have always thought is really cool and have been thinking about using in my A2 media coursework. So me and Lily decided to make a simple and short stop motion animation to get some more practice in creating it as it is something we have not had a lot of experience with before, so we just used some Tic Taks and and their boxes to create a Pac Man like sequence.

Planning - Props ( Post 30 )

Props This aspect of my music video is strongly linked to the costume  aspect of my video, as most of the props I am planning on using link to the set costumes for my characters. This also makes props a crucial part of my music video as it will add to the effect of the costumes; as good props will be an extension of these costumes and thus the characters, giving the audience a clearer image when watching my music video. Also, due to the fact that I am trying to use costumes inspired a different time period to modern day, by adding props this will make that difference clearer by adding more definition and the little details will make the over all finish of my video more professional. As I am working by myself, I did not get many images from filming because I was the only person behind the camera and most of my attention was on executing the footage for my music video. Evaluation : Planning

The final aspect of my A2 coursework is to evaluate the work that I have completed. To do this I printed off the marks scheme and specification to give myself more of a knowledge of exactly what I had to do. By downloading the mark scheme I can see precisely what I need to achieve, and also have a basis for evaluating my own work as I can see what the exam board wants and how my work compares to these guidelines. The specification allows me to get more of an idea of how to set out my evaluation and to start deciding on formats, allocating one to each question. It allows me to plan more thoroughly as well.
