Construction : Filming dates

As part of my planning for the construction of my coursework, I have obviously had to organise dates on which to film. This has been one of the most difficult aspects of my planning process so far as my idea means that I had to find a date that all my actors are available for filming, which was challenging as they are all very busy individuals so finding a free date took a lot of pre-planning. In the end we managed to get a filming plan together:

Filming date : 15th Feb 2018

Start location : City College, Norwich ( Just band members)
Start time : 10 am

Filming plan : To film in the music rooms to get the performance scenes needed for my video.

Second location : City Centre, Norwich ( Band members and policeman)

Start time : 11:45 am

Filming plan: To take pictures for my ancillary tasks. To get the silent film chase footage needed for the narrative of my video.

This is the plan that we will be following when we reach filming day.

Planning - Props ( Post 30 )

Props This aspect of my music video is strongly linked to the costume  aspect of my video, as most of the props I am planning on using link to the set costumes for my characters. This also makes props a crucial part of my music video as it will add to the effect of the costumes; as good props will be an extension of these costumes and thus the characters, giving the audience a clearer image when watching my music video. Also, due to the fact that I am trying to use costumes inspired a different time period to modern day, by adding props this will make that difference clearer by adding more definition and the little details will make the over all finish of my video more professional. The props I want to use are going to  used quite a lot in my video as well, again making them a pronounced element of my mis-en-scene. As I am working by myself, I did not get many images from filming because I was the only person behind the camera and most of my attention was on executing the footage for my music video. Evaluation : Planning

The final aspect of my A2 coursework is to evaluate the work that I have completed. To do this I printed off the marks scheme and specification to give myself more of a knowledge of exactly what I had to do. By downloading the mark scheme I can see precisely what I need to achieve, and also have a basis for evaluating my own work as I can see what the exam board wants and how my work compares to these guidelines. The specification allows me to get more of an idea of how to set out my evaluation and to start deciding on formats, allocating one to each question. It allows me to plan more thoroughly as well.
