As I am working by myself, I did not get many images from filming because I was the only person behind the camera and most of my attention was on executing the footage for my music video. The final aspect of my A2 coursework is to evaluate the work that I have completed. To do this I printed off the marks scheme and specification to give myself more of a knowledge of exactly what I had to do. By downloading the mark scheme I can see precisely what I need to achieve, and also have a basis for evaluating my own work as I can see what the exam board wants and how my work compares to these guidelines. The specification allows me to get more of an idea of how to set out my evaluation and to start deciding on formats, allocating one to each question. It allows me to plan more thoroughly as well. As with ancillary task 1, I am also researching into a variety of professional and student made versions of music posters, to help me with ancillary task 2. Professional examples: Greenday: 21st Century breakdown Within this cover there is lots of information about the band. The band name is printed in large typography, giving the consumer immediate knowledge of who's product they are looking at. It lets you know in large writing when the album is being released, promoting other products for the same band, working effectively as an advertisement. Underneath this it informs us of one of the better known songs on the album, to act as an incentive for consumers to purchase the album as they already know they like a song included. The typography used has a certain type of character which suggests to the consumer of the style and image of the band, even though there is no actual photographs of the band members.
